Rustic Corsair Aviation Triptych

AT ALMOST EIGHT FEET WIDE, (90 inches) wide, the largest version of our new rustic triptych featuring World War II era F4U Corsair fighter planes will easily be the focal point of any room it occupies. With it's signature "gull" wing designs, it was perhaps the most recognizable US fighter in the Pacific theater, and Japanese pilots considered it a fearsome adversary.  Often flying from carrier ships, the US Navy claimed Corsairs boasted an 11:1 kill ratio over the enemy. They also served admirably in the Korean War before being retired.

Each of the three wood plank panels measures just under 30” wide, with a subtle grey toned Corsair being shadowed by another on each side. The background is a faux distressed painted plank wall to give texture and character. Thick planks are backed by one inch cross beams to keep your wood aviation art from warping over time (as cheap, thin wood signs can do).  MADE IN USA.  Propeller shown is for display ideas and is sold separately.
