THE NEWEST AIRPLANE in our popular wood aviation triptych series features the A-10 "warthog", an attack plane that featured prominently as a prime tank destroyer in the Gulf war and in many military actions before and since.
It's difficult to show just how impressive this piece is, as we've printed with fade resistant inks in a vintage antiqued sepia tone on the rough cut side of three thick (3/4" inch) solid wood panels. No two are exactly alike, but all feature unique features such as faint circular saw marks left over by large mill blades, knots and the cool wood imperfections that let viewers know they're not looking at a typical canvas wall hanging.
The back of each panel is stained and finished with thick wood slats in a "z" fashion to prevent future warping---much like is done on barn doors. Comes with pre-attached sturdy saw tooth hangers and ready to hang. Choose from the available size options above (sizes in inches). Sizes do not include distance between each panel, but we recommend approximately 3/4 inch space between. MADE IN USA.
